I'm a rural bookkeeper, profit strategist, mum, farmer and community advocate.
I'm passionate about a lot of things but in particular helping rural and regional small business owners like you achieve the life and business you set out to create!
I understand the juggle of small business, rural life, motherhood, community involvement and everything else we take on!

Our Story
In 2018, I established EJS Business Services as a side hustle while working full time at an accounting firm and studying. While working as an accountant for a firm provided a great opportunity for career growth, it didn't provide me with the flexibility I required to support our farm business and start our family.
After realising I needed more flexibility and a greater sense of self-fulfilment, I stepped away from public practice accounting in 2021 and embarked on the journey of supporting small business owners through bespoke bookkeeping and business strategy services. I learned that once you step into who you really are and what you really want, there's no going back.

Elouise Ryan

Bookkeeper
- Currently studying a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping
Growing up on a mixed cropping & grazing property 100km NW of Condobolin, she possesses invaluable rural knowledge. From being a farm kid to working as a rouseabout, contract fencing, handling tractor driving and hay making across VIC & SA, and bookkeeping she’s had a broad experience in the ag sector!
Elouise's favorite part? Seeing clients as neighbours, just like the close-knit farming community. When they succeed, it feels like a win for all of us.
While numbers have always fascinated her (maths was her favorite subject at school, believe it or not!), bookkeeping is about more than just crunching numbers on screens. It's about lending a helping hand to businesses and supporting them on their journey to success.
Over the past 5 years, Elouise has been gaining experience and refining her skills as a bookkeeper. She's currently working towards her Cert IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping, constantly striving to enhance her expertise.
The most challenging part of her role? Staying up to date with new tax regulations. And yes, sometimes she even dreams about coding transactions in her sleep during BAS time (weird, right?). But hey, it sometimes leads to unexpected solutions!

Meet Shereena, a Coonabarabran local with a lifelong affinity for numbers. From media to local government, her diverse career paved the way for a passion in bookkeeping. Recently completing her Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, Shereena brings a dynamic blend of expertise and hands-on experience managing a grazier business with her partner.
Shereena is committed to client success. Beyond data entry, she thrives on analysing reports, ensuring businesses not only meet but exceed targets. As a devoted mother and advocate for the country lifestyle, Shereena offers a unique, personalised touch to her services.
Monique Gray
Monique is our ultimate multitasker as a Marketing Assistant and Website Manager extraordinaire! With her infectious energy and a knack for all things digital, Monique is all about creating an awesome client journey.

What We Don’t Do
Cheap & Nasty Bookkeeping
Don’t expect cheap and dirty bookkeeping, getting ghosted, missed deadlines. We become a partner of your team, good friends and your biggest support.
Wear Suits and Use a Paper Ledger
It may come as a shock, but we don’t use the old paper books or wear fancy suits. We’re a young and mighty team of rural women, working remotely and embracing technology to support you to transform your passion into profit, focus on your loved ones and other parts of the business you love!

We’re more than ‘just bookkeepers.’ We do all that we can to support your business in the most powerful way so you can enjoy your business and life! We share business insights, help you set up systems, simplify your processes and anything else! We’re here to help you in any way we can - if we can’t help, we’ll find someone who can!
